Eduardo Chavez-Lopez
My name is Eduardo Chavez-Lopez. I am currently going into my third year attending Cabrillo College. I am studying to become an Electrical engineer, not only because of how interesting and cool it sounds having to work with electricity, but also I can use it to help out many people in need. I have not found another major that would give me the same feeling of joy and interest as engineering does. Sure when people hear engineering they think of the bad like intense stem classes, studying a lot, competition, etc. However I see engineering as being able to be creative and having the knowledge to innovate. I plan to transfer to San Jose State and achieve a bachelors in Electrical engineering. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, going out to admire nature, going for drives all over the bay area, eating, and socializing. I am eager to be in the engineering abroad program for giving me a chance to get more insight on what engineering is about and being able to travel to another country to admire its nature and culture. Also more importantly I want to see how people from other countries are living, and be given the chance to help them as much as I can.
