Yolotzin Palacios

Hi, my name is Yolotzin Palacios and I am a Cabrillo student majoring in electrical engineering. I hope to transfer to SJSU after Cabrillo to get my degree in engineering. Growing up I've always been intrigued by the way things work and it's because of this spark of curiosity whenever I see something new that I'm driven to try and learn new things whenever possible. It's this way of thinking that has pushed me into bettering myself and has helped me create a mindset in helping others. As I continue my journey towards my engineering degree I would like to help others as much as possible and hold this mindset into the future as I would want to apply my engineering experiences into something that can create a positive impact. Seeing how this program gives me an opportunity to both expand my way of thinking and help another community, joining the Engineering Abroad Program was an easy choice.
