Felipe Nolasco
Hello, my name is Felipe Nolasco, and I am a second-year engineering student pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Even though I am pursuing a career in engineering, I have developed an interest in horticulture because of my job as a laborer at a plant nursery. Through this job, I have come to recognize the importance of water conservation in the agricultural sector, sparking my belief in resource conservation. Throughout my academic journey at Cabrillo College, I have been fortunate to be able explore fields other than engineering. This past summer, I took a computer science course in the hopes that I would develop a solid foundation in problem-solving. After earning a bachelor’s degree, I envision myself pursuing a master’s in business administration. I want to be able to combine a technical education with a business-oriented education so that I can contribute to innovative solutions that bring about more sustainable practices and improve people’s quality of life.
