Christopher Rodriguez

Growing up I always had the interest of creating things with my hands and spending countless hours imagining possibilities, whether it was for food, art, technology, or just daydreaming about stories. Currently, my passions revolve around much of the same except now they are more attainable with the tools and knowledge I’ve been gifted from my years of practice and learning from experienced minds. I’m pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering and hope to have my own business one day where I can apply sustainable practices and commit myself to bringing a positive change to the place I was born. Being raised in an agricultural town mostly of immigrant descent we didn’t always have a lot in terms of resources, but we were rich in the community that we built. I realized that in order to make grander improvements to the place I lived it required the collective effort of everyone. Later in life I hope to enter politics in some form. My aim is to make the most direct and effective impact to use technology and policy to make quality of life improvements for the people. Great minds and ideas can exist anywhere, it will be up to us to find them and empower those voices. I also am a huge sci-fi nerd and am in the process of writing my own book inspired with these ideals in mind, talk to me if you want to find out more!
